Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Education - Community Needs Assessment

NOTE: The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe administers its own Title VI, Part A Indian Education Grant, which is distinct from the Mashpee Public School District’s Title VI, Part A grant, which is limited to serving Native students enrolled within the Mashpee Public Schools. The tribe serves Native students in Falmouth, Bourne, New Bedford, Wareham, Sandwich, Barnstable, and the Weetumuw School, and focuses on tribally-driven educational initiatives, ensuring culturally responsive programming that reflects tribal culture, language, history, and values. This grant allows the Tribe to provide direct services, cultural enrichment programs, academic support, and community engagement activities designed specifically to uplift and support Wampanoag youth and families.
